KnowBe4 Launches Cybersecurity Game Hack-A-Cat on Roblox

Take the role of either a cat or a mouse in Hack-A-Cat, a cybersecurity game by KnowBe4

Cybersecurity threats are plenty in today’s day and age, and it’s vital for kids to learn and be safe from such threats.

This is one of the reasons why KnowBe4 launched its new cybersecurity game, Hack-A-Cat on Roblox. As its first foray into the popular gaming platform, up to four players will take the mantle of either a cat or a mouse to duke it out for tokens. For the felines to win, they need to ship out their tuna successfully, while for the mice they have to sabotage the cats’ efforts by using real security hacking methods.

“We thought our new ‘Hack-A-Cat’ game was a unique opportunity to inspire interest in cybersecurity for a younger audience using Roblox,” said the CEO of KnowBE4, Stu Sjouwerman.

Although it’s more of a fun, lighthearted experience, it teaches players essential skills in cybersecurity including email safety, phishing, and more.
