Official FIFA Game Debuts on Roblox: FIFA Teams Up With Gamefam to Launch FIFA Super Soccer
A popular Roblox Experience gets the FIFA treatment: more excitement, more personalization.
It’s always a big deal when a FIFA game gets a version release. Getting one for Roblox doubles the impact. Here’s a new real-time multiplayer soccer for every Robloxian itching for sports: FIFA Super Soccer.
FIFA’s partnership with Roblox isn’t new. They’ve been at it since 2022. What do big names usually get promoting each other in their growing communities? More exposure. With more than 150 million users logged in and active for at least 3 hours daily, any brand that ties in with Roblox is sure to get noticed.
When Experience maker GameFam is tapped by the worldwide football franchise, that means their biggest game has gone through quite the aesthetic makeover. What’s chosen to carry the FIFA branding is the popular Super League Soccer, a game played by 9.5 million monthly active users, playing 1.5 million daily matches, and clocking in at 11 minutes on average.
Players represent national teams and popular clubs, all while football fans wait for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026. Matchmaking is done in real-time, ranked matches with teams of 4 players on each side. Choose between the roles of midfielder, striker, and goalkeeper and jump into action. Games continue even when the original players leave mid-match. Placeholders in the form of AI-controlled versions of the previous players take the field until a new Robloxian takes the position.
Playing the game itself is almost intuitive, whether a controller or mouse-and-keyboard is used. Dedicated buttons for kicking, passing, tackling, and other actions appear in the lower left portion of the game screen. Controls follow a mostly basic scheme common in Roblox multiplayer Experiences, with the default keyboard and mouse being the best layout.
The footballer is customized using a variety of aesthetics, ranging from taunts, player cards (simply the badge that displays someone’s track record), ball skins, and Taunts (emotes that are used in-game). Players purchase card packs and get a random avatar accessory. Rarity is color-coded, and the rarest effects tend to be flashier compared to lower-tiered variants. Everyone gets a chance to grab digital accessories from popular sporting goods brands like Adidas. Customize voxel sportsmen in ways rarely seen on other sports Experiences.
Player growth is performance-based, factored by win rate, scoring, and defense percentages. They’re matched with identically ranked players in fast matches. How easy or tough the game is depends on team coordination, which is rather uncommon when being fielded with a bunch of strangers. That doesn’t mean you can enter a match with online buddies for an authentic 4-on-4 experience.
This is not the first time Super League Soccer has received a FIFA makeover. Why another round, anyone asks? The first try in June and July 2025 gave FIFA more eyes to the sport from the Roblox community. With the World Cup 2026 drawing close, interest in the actual game, with hot and intense field rivalries, will spark the inner fan in players.
